William is listed in the 1850 Federal census in Wilkinson county. He is listed as 22 years old. value of property $600. Wife, Sarah, and daughter Sarah are also listed with him. LOUISA ELIZABETH BASS Louisa's marker reads L. E. Perry and was homemade by her grandson, Lloyd Ashley. It is made of cement. In the 1910 census, Louisa stated that she had 10 children, only 6 living. A researcher left notes indicating that Willis and Louisa had lost several children to measles and whooping cough. One was a girl named Mary. In 1917-1918, Louisa lived in Rosetta, MS according to her son's draft registration for WWI. Louisa died of heart failure.She is buried Columbus Phipps graveyard on Turkey Creek Road.Her marker reads L.E. Perry.

WILLIS McCAGLE ASHLEY Willis is buried in the old John Perry graveyard just off Perrytown Road, His grave is beside thr graves of two Asley girls.None of them have markers.
